The Cinema Series at Augusta University: "Pete's Dragon"

PETE’S DRAGON
2016, Rated PG
(102 minutes)

Screenwriter/Producer Toby Halbrooks will be present for a Q&A session led by Matthew Buzzell, Assistant Professor of Communication.

Pete, a ten year old boy, has spent years alone in the forest of the Pacific Northwest with his friend Elliot, a dragon.  What happens when a forest ranger and her young niece find them will keep you absolutely absorbed in this magical story until the very end.

“’Pete’s Dragon’ conjures the primordial power of fantasy itself”. – Richard Brody, the New Yorker

This screening is presented by the

Free admission to The Cinema Series for Augusta University and East Georgia State College students, faculty, staff, and the general public is made possible by the
